Many things to discover in this area...Whilst the ocean beaches (La Teste de Buch and Lège-Cap-Ferret) call for the greatest vigilance, those of the Bay are much more suited to families. The Bay’s beaches are stretches of fine sand, which slope gently down to the shore: a delight for the children. Swim with the tide… but without the waves. At low tide, the pools of sea water, filtered by each in-coming tide, are a delight for amateurs. On the peninsula and the beaches of Arcachon, there is water even at low tide. |
