Haute-Marne is part of the Champagne-Ardenne region. This area is superbly located and borders the Meuse (2h30 from Verdun), Vosges (1h30 from Epinal), Haute-Saone (1H40 from Vesoul), Cote-d'Or (1 h from Dijon), Aube (1h40 from Troyes) and Marne (3h00 from Reims) departments.

At the foot of the plateau of Langres, Meuse can be discovered through the many towns and villages dominating it. Montigny, Bourmont, Clefmont and Lorrain-style villages such as Audeloncourt, Perrusse, Noyers, Hacourt and Breuvannes in Bassigny are perfect examples.
