Uploading Images to your rental Advert

Top Tips

• Landscape orientated images often display better than portrait.
• Try to ensure well lit images are used, preferably taken on sunny days.
• Include up to 10 images per advert.
• Adverts can take up to 1 hour to appear throughout the website.
• Images should be 1024x768 pixels or smaller to ensure they are uploaded correctly.
• Please refer to our guides about resizing images and resizing batches of images.

Advert Overview

Once you have added a description for your rental advert you will need to publish some images alongside the advert. This page will guide you through the process of publishing your rental advert images.

From the Rental Management System you will be presented with all your rental adverts you have created, select the edit link to access the rental management system.

Advert Preview

On the advertisement preview page you will be able to see your adverts description as it appears to potential clients (This will not include your images if they are not yet supplied). From the top of this page please select the Add or Remove the images associated with this property link.

Selecting Your Images to Upload

Within the image management section, select browse to find the appropriate images on your local computer. After clicking on browse, you will be presented with a browse window similar to the one pictured. Find your images on your local computer and press open. Finally, specify a title for the image, if required, before pressing the upload button to send the image to the www.french-property.com website.

Managing Images

After you have uploaded several images you will be able to see them all on the same page. Beneath each image are a number of options which allow you to change the position of the image, rename it and also to delete the image.

Once you are happy with all of the images and their ordering (we always recommend a good quality image of the property façade as the first image), press Save & Continue to confirm your changes.

Final Preview and Publish

After pressing Save & Continue you will be taken back to the advertisement preview page, this time all your uploaded images should be visible. The final stage is to press the red button titled Publish Advertisement to start advertising your property for rent.
