French School Term & Holiday Dates 2010 - 2011

French schools start back on 2nd September, and the school term and holiday dates for 2010/11 have recently been announced by the government.
For all students in metropolitan France:
- • Autumn holidays start Saturday October 23rd 2010 until Wednesday 3rd November 2010 inclusive.
- • Christmas vacation will begin Saturday December 18th 2010 until 2nd January 2011 inclusive.
- • Summer vacation has been set to start on Saturday July 2nd 2011 with the Autumn return set for 5th September 2011.
The dates of the winter break (late February - early March) and spring break (late April - early May) differ according to the school zones considered (Zone A , B or C). These dates are available on our French School Holiday page.
