Our name arises from the phrase having a Purple Patch “doing well” and Perigord Pourpre “purple part of the Dordogne” where we are situated, known for it’s abundance of purple grapes and the production of varied, interesting and inexpensive red wine.

Established 2002 in the South West Dordogne specializing in properties in the Dordogne, Gironde and Lot et Garonne, all of the properties have been inspected by us.

The Area

There are a host of well known and interesting towns and villages within the area and beyond, such as Bergerac - the principal town of the region with it?s airport serviced by Ryanair and Flybe.

To the east of Bergerac there are the riverside villages of Creysse, Couze and Lallinde. To the South-east of Bergerac, are the bastides Issigeac, Beaumont, Monpazier and Villefranche du Perigord. To the South is the world famous Chateau Monbazillac, well known for its sweet desert wine, Sogoules known for its wine fair and Eymet for its cricket team.
