French Housing Prices per Square Metre

Here are the average housing value (for sales) in France. For every French region, you could find a valuation of the regional Real Estate markets' prices.

You will find in the table the average sale price of a typical property, but let us mention that these prices can vary according to the state of the house; a recently-built cottage's value may differ from an authentic farmhouse's.

It is quite surprising that rich regions like Auvergne, Limousin and Bourgogne - which boast pretty landscapes and delightful food - have the cheapest housing values. A chance for every gourmet and wine connoisseur who would like to live in France!

On the contrary, housing prices in the most popular and lively French regions have largely grow up for the last few years; the famous Paris Ile de France and sunny Rhone Alpes and Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur are indeed very successful today.
