Alsace Air Travel and Flights

Alsace boasts an excellent system of airports, mainly shared with neighbouring countries. Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg airport is an excellent entrance point in the region with its many destinations. In the last decade, more and more people have been travelling to the region. This has led to a significant development of Alsace airports.

Air traffic		In 2005 more than 2 million passengers travelled through Strasbourg Airport and more than 4 million through Basel-Mulhouse Airport.
Largest Airport		The international EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg is the seventh largest French airport in terms of traffic.
Local Airports		Both airports operate through all the France via national companies.
International Airports		Strasbourg International Airport in Entzheim It is the second most important airport in the Alsace region and has great potential for future years. Air France flights from London Gatwick are available. Basel-Mulhouse-Fribourg Euro Airport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg airport is the first one in Alsace thanks to the number of passengers per year flying through this airport. It is shared by three countries and is bound to become one of the leading airports in Europe. -Easyjet flights from Liverpool and London Stansted and Luton -British Airways flights from London-Heathrow -Ryanair flights from Dublin
