The town of Dijon wants to re-establish the line Dijon-London from the regional airport Dijon Bourgogne Longvic, closed for rentability problems.
Such a line would place Burgundy only 1 hr from London.
Currently various international and other independent airlines operate services to Paris, arriving at Paris Charles de Gaulle or Orly airports. Then TGV and the road network offer direct access to Burgundy.
