|
The lack of airport in Burgundy is a handicap for the regional development.
The town of Dijon want to re-establish the line Dijon-London from the regional airport Dijon Bourgogne Longvic, closed for rentability problems.
A such line would place Burgundy only over 1hours of London.
Currently various international and other independant airlines operate services to Paris, arriving at Paris Charles de Gaulle or Orly airports. Then TGV and car offer direct access to Burgundy.
