Brittany ranks 4th when it comes to the number of regional overnight stays. This is little wonder considering the many assets the region boasts, with the bordering Atlantic Ocean and an exceptional climate, not to mention its rich heritage.

• In terms of commercial accommodation, camp sites are the most numerous, followed by hotels and furnished holiday flats.
• Out of 872 homologated hotels, 55% are 2 star ones and 24% have 3 stars. As regards comfort, most of the camp sites have 2 or 3 stars and the average comfort level is pretty high. Some of them can be rent for one whole year.
• Most of the accommodation offer is located on the shoreline but many guesthouses are also to be found further inland in very typical Breton houses.
• In order to match the increasing tourist demand, Brittany has for a few years launched new development projects and the offer is then improving as regards both quality and range expansion.
