Brittany Towns and villages of interest
Finistère
Quimper: known as "ville d’Art et d’Histoire" it is a town with a rich patrimony including: the Saint-Corentin cathedral, 17th century properties, ramparts, museums and Odet quays.
Roscoff: characterful small town and seaside resort, famous for thalassotherapy and oceanographical research centre.
Concarneau: is surrounded by ramparts and is the 3rd fishing port of France, including a small village of granit in the middle.

Côtes d'Armor
Dinan: is surrounded by one of the oldest and most extensive ramparts of Brittany. About 13,000 people live in this picturesque town full of half timbered buildings from 14th century.
Paimpol: is known for its harbour and quays, its museums and small streets.
Perros-Guirrec: consists of a fishing port and marina, "Saint-Jacques" church and beaches.

Morbihan
Vannes: is known as art town and located in the "Golfe du morbihan". It has ramparts and typical breton architecture.
Carnac: is really famous for its sandy beaches, rural and traditionnal architecture as for its meghalitic site.
Lorient: is famous for its celtic music festival as for the scuba diving practise.

Ille et Vilaine
Saint Malo is situated at the Cote d'Émeraude, with fortifications and ramparts as popular tourist attraction. This is also an important harbour for ferry services with England.
Cancale: is a fishing port, famous for its oysters, oyster beds covering many hundred hectares and interesting museum. Mont-Saint-Michel can be seen from Cancale.
Rennes: retraces 2,000 years of history. The towns includes typical half-timbered houses and 2 royal places.

"Villes et Villages Fleuris"
Brittany accounts for many flowery towns and villages awarded such as: Lannion, Trébeurden, Roscoff and Saint-Juvat.
