Corsica Golf Courses and Clubs

Corsica has more than 600 miles of coastline and many peaks exceeding 2000 metres and culminating at 2706 metres at Mount Cinto. It is no wonder that the Greek name for Corsica was Kalliste (Island of Beauty). French people still use that nickname.

  • With its really particular geography, Corsica may not seem like a golfer's paradise. But anyone interested in golf should visit the outstandingly situated Sperone Golf course, one of the most beautiful courses in France. It is the only 18-hole golf course of the French island. Sperone Golf Course has been designed by R. Trent Jones Senior, the renowned golf courses architect.
  • Fond of golf players are bound to visit this spectacular course, located on a breathtaking site at the southern tip of Corsica, a jewel belonging to France. This golf course is surrounded with villas that contrast with the medieval fortress town of Bonifacio that is just a stone throw from there.
  • The course is located in a breathtaking site at the southern tip of Corsica. It is overlooking the Mediterranean, Bonifacio and the small Cavallo and Lavezzi islands.
This course has several times been recognised as one of Europe's best golf courses. The exceptionally scenic 18-hole Sperone course really does have something special to offer to golf players willing to visit that French region.
  • It has regularly been ranked in the "top 100" of Golf World's best courses! The course boasts coast and seaside cliffs views on 6 of its holes, and it is really difficult to focus then. This is a must-see if you wish to play golf in France.
Sperone golf course is a jewel

  • As soon as you tee off you can enjoy outstanding views of the Mediterranean, the Lavezzi Islands and the distant peaks of Sardinia. Technically speaking, that Sperone golf course is tricky for golf players since the wind often blows. As usual on French golf courses, the clubhouse is renowned for being a great pre or post game treat and will allow you to taste local produce.
