- Alès, located just 25 minutes from Nîmes. Alès lies at the feet of the Cévennes next to the Cévennes National Park. Its wide streets and promenades as well as the trees planted in town make this town very attractive.
- Carcassonne, this is a medieval town located on the right bank of the river Aude. It is mentioned on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. Its 52 towers and 2 rings of town walls make 3 km of battlements.

Many small and authentic villages must be discovered: Anduze, typical medieval town, Beziers with its cathedral and its proximity to Spain.
