Worldwide renowned for its Provence and French Riviera, the PACA region has clearly lots on offer. Sea, beautiful landscapes, a rich heritage, a privileged climate, lots of traditions... Here is a list of some types of accommodation from where enjoy all these assets:

• The Gites de France
  
  The Gites de France label is the most famous and serious label for Gites in France. They usually allow lots of privacy as they are somewhat isolated in towns outskirts or in the countrisyde, being nevertheless close to amenities. They generally come with a plot of land and as it is often the case in the region, have also a swimming pool at your disposal.
• Cottages in Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur
  
  Many cottages can be found, either to rent or buy, just minutes from the Mediterranean sea and even closer. As a plus side, cottages on the shoreline sometimes look out on the sea; they are however quite expensive. A piece of advice we could give you would be not to focus on the seafront but try to discover the hinterland that is little-known but so authentic and wild.

  You will find many luxury apartments with really high standards of quality of living. Bargains are not so easy to find in this region due to the high demand for real estate, but some are still to drive if moving away from the coastline. On the other side the region is a blue chip in terms of buy-to-let investment since PACA is very sought-after and its tourist attractivity is both well established and bound to last.
