Passenger transport is also an important activity, as most of the mediterranean destinations are deserved from Marseille. The Port of Nice and Toulon are more passenger oriented, to Corsica and Italia. Air transport is mainly operated in Nice Côte d'Azur (second largest airport in France) and Marseille Provence (fourth), Hyères is also an important airport for the most tourit developed departement in France.
