As a traditional Perigord house, the accommodation is situated over three floors and consists of a fitted kitchen with oven, gas hob, dishwasher and fridge freezer. A living/dining room with original working medieval fireplace, two double bedrooms large enough to sleep six people, a bathroom including a shower, sink and fitted units, WC and utility room.  There are electric heaters throughout the house.  The exterior of the property consists of gardens front and back, ample car parking spaces, wooden shed with electricity, car port, stone barn and an original fully functional well.

The village of Lanquais boasts a shop, post office, tennis court and small local rugby ground, excellent auberge with outdoor seating, a chamber d’hote, church and most importantly, the fantastic Chateau de Lanquais.  There are plenty of good walks with the bastide towns of Lalinde and Beaumont just a ten minute drive away.
