An attractive path meanders round the lake, which is well stocked with carp, and a causeway traverses it, forming an upper and lower lake. The lake area is over half an acre. Attractive trees and plants landscape the lakes. From the barn a long meadow leads to a marr or duck pond in a quiet tree surrounded grotto. This meadow has mature oak trees along its length. The orchards provide plum, cherry, walnut, hazel, apple, apricot and pear trees.
