Garden Cottage is siituated in the grounds of Les Chaumiers, near Sainte Foy La Grande. It faces into its own private garden and from May to October also has exclusive use of a swimming pool - heated by a solar panel.

Garden Cottage was a new conversion 2005 and is very light, airy and well equipped. There is satellite TV with UK and French programmes, DVD & DVR + library of DVD's and VCR tapes & HiFi. The patio has table, chairs, unbrella and BBQ + solar lighting to complete the evening ambiance. Access to Internet via WiFi.

Sunbeds and sun chairs are also available.

Garden Cottage is the only Gite that will be offered for rental in 2009/2010. The property is completely secured by fences and high hedges. It is very 'child friendly' and the garden of Garden Cottage is a good size + overall the grounds of Les Chaumiers are large, and set with trees, bushes and lawns. Surrounding properties are not too close and the whole hamlet is exceptional with regard to the quality and presentation of other houses. Access is via a small country lane that leads from the main road to Sainte Foy La Grande in one direction and Bergerac in the other. There is a small village with supermarket, boulangerie etc. within 2 km and towards Ste Foy La Grande (3 km) a large supermarket.
