Welcome to Chateau Raysse! In the heart of Dordogne, we offer you serenity and comfort for weekly rentals, gathering, receptions...and any event that will please you! Chateau from the 17th century fully renovated, it is a trip in the past that is offered to you.

Emerging from 18 hectares of nature, the Chateau Raysse is dominating one of the valleys of Dordogne. All the prestigious sites of this historic region are less than 45 minutes drive. You will have full privacy whilst being few minutes away from all the services and culture you will need.

The Chateau was started in the 12th century by a central defense tower and has been developed until the 17th century.

The architecture and character are preserved whilst offering all the modern comforts.

We offer weekly self catering rentals We also cater for weddings or other events.

The Chateau consists of 7 beautiful bedrooms, with magnificent kitchen, living room, study and all modern facilities.

3 rooms have four poster beds, all are en suite, 2 have both bath and shower.
Some features inside are simply enchanting : a 18th century chimney, traditional gentlemen's lounge, chimneys in 5 five of the bedrooms.

Situated just in front of the Chateau, south facing, the main swimming pool has views on the Dordogne Valley.
The Maison du Parc consists of 8 bedrooms, 7 en suite, 7 doubles and 1 single. There is a traditional farm house kitchen and a large games / party room. 4 bedrooms have access to a large private garden with fig trees, BBQ's, garden furniture. It is a pleasure for senses.

The Pigeonnier is a very bright space, the most modern, quite private and independent. It has a living room that opens into a fitted kitchen equipped with everything needed including a washing machine, dryer and microwave. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one double with a cot, the other a twin, and a pretty bathroom with a separate WC.

Outside are our 2 swimming pools and a trampoline. The gardens offer romantic walks, an orchard with fig, apple and pear trees, wild flower meadow and our 2 donkeys, Vanille and Chocolat. Forget the smog, the drilling of the phone, your place in the traffic. You' re in Chateau Raysse - you've escaped!
