Small village house

This little house is the ideal low maintenance holiday home having no garden to worry about and being completely securable when empty. It is situated in a medieval hilltop bastide village with shops, bars, restaurants, chateau and a busy weekly market.

The house consists of a large living room with modern kitchen area and a separate shower room. An interesting feature is an origional stone sink set in a wall which is typical of this area.

A staircase leading to a very large family size bedroom, large enough to possibly divide. As it is the house would sleep 4 adults easily. The windows and door are fitted with wooden shutters enabling the house to be locked up and left secure.

The Pays de Duras is a busy rural community surrounded by vineyards, sunflower  fields and plum orchards and is the perfect destination for walking, cycling (bikes for hire in the village) etc. Duras, besides being close to the Dordogne with all its many attractions is also within easy reach of the exciting city's of Bordeaux, Agen etc. or maybe hire a boat on the canal in Marmande ( a la Rick Stein), or spend a day sampling the fine wines of the world famous St Emilion.
