Volets Bleus really is beautifully situated on the very edge of Monflanquin, ` L` un des plus beaux villages de France`. Our holiday makers really do appreciate the gite, and it is always well booked, and easy to manage. However, for those not wanting a gite, then 3 bedrooms/bathrooms are available simply by opening 2 doors. The gite kitchen-diner has been arranged so that it could be easily converted into a 4th bed/bathroom. So, a very versatile property. This is a lovely area, and mediaeval villages abound. The local economy is largely agricultural, and the local Casino supermarket sells lots of fresh local produce. We are close to both the Lot and the Dordogne boundaries, so are well placed for the exploration of these beautiful valleys. The house has gas central heating, and the main lounge - some 40 sq. m. - benefits from a `Jotul` wood burning stove. A glazed door leads to the fitted kitchen. Another door leads to the main en-suite bedroom, fitted with a thermostatic shower, bath, bidet, wc and wash hand basin. French windows lead onto the large, south facing covered terrace. This is well used for evening meals and BBQ`s. The gite is separated from the living area by a large store cupboard, a utility room , an office and two doors. This ensures total privacy. The second house bedroom is some 19sq. m . and has a wc, a wash hand basin, and a thermostatic shower. A french window opens onto to a private terrace with lovely long distance country views.
