Meric Gites is a large ancient farmhouse, with a wealth of oak beams and stonewalls. It offers two well equipped cottages for rental and has a large secure swimming pool, surrounded by lawns and gardens. We are situated in south west France, in the heart of the beautiful Lot et Garonne. It rests in a peaceful valley surrounded by fields of sunflowers and vineyards and is set in its own land. Close by is the small Roman town of Sainte Livrade on the river Lot and a further 8kms along the river is the bastide town of Villenueve sur Lot with its pavement cafes, restaurants and shops. Food is available on request.

The 2 Gites - La Maison and Le Chai

La Maison has french doors leading into an attractive lounge with a comfortable sitting area, including a sofa bed and a dining area with oak beams and a splendid fireplace with woodburner. The dining area has a panoramic view across the valley. The kitchen has an oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and a washing machine. There is FreeSat TV showing all free to air UK channels and wi-fi. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom and a shower room with basin and w.c.. Outside there is a terrace with a BBQ and table and chairs.

Le Chai has a large comfortable lounge, including a sofa bed. The dining area has a panoramic view across the valley. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and a dishwasher. There is a showeroom with two separate wc's. Upstairs there is a large sunny landing with glorious views. There is Free Sat TV showing all free to air UK channels and wi-fi. Two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom. Outside there is a terrace with table, chairs and a BBQ
