Moulin de Pierretoune was built in 1550 and is set in 5 acres of riverside gardens just 30 minutes from Biarritz and the Basque coastline, world famous for its excellent surf conditions. The watermill has 4 bedrooms, 3 double bedrooms and 1 twin. There is a bathroom and WC on the 1st floor. On the ground floor, there is a shower room and 2nd WC, a large living/dining room with large open fireplace and a recently fitted, well-equipped kitchen. Doors from the living room lead out onto a large terrace where the river flows below. The terrace is the ideal place for al fresco dining. There is a shared heated swimming pool of 10.5 x 3m. No traffic noise whatsoever. The mill is in a small hamlet just outside the village of La Bastide Clairence, voted one of the most beautiful villages in France. Just 30 minutes' drive from Biarritz and the beaches.
