On almost the same latitude as Nice, this 18c farmhouse is situated near the Spanish border, between Biarritz and Pau. It exists in an area rich in the culture of two countries, with an abundance of leisure activities.

On a spacious, lawned plot on a ridge and therefore enjoying commanding views over the field and tree filled valley of the River Laa, Maison Hirondelle is a classic example of 18c Bearnaise architecture.

This traditional farmhouse looks most inviting with its steeply raked tiled , wooden window shutters, and partially ivy-clad facade. Downstairs the exposed wood ceiling beams and large, wood burning fireplace bring real French character to the open plan living accommodation.
