Le Cosquer is a 16th century Breton farm situated in the heart of the Brittany region

Le Cosquer is situated one mile outside of the village of St Connec.  Just five miles away is Lake de Guerledan, with sandy beaches and safe bathing for those who do no want the hustle and bustle of sea beaches. Boat trips, water sports, fishing, cycling and walking are all available in this very beautiful area.

Le Cosquer is a 16th century Breton farm situated in the heart of the Brittany region in France. Although the farm is no longer being used as such, the house has been sympathetically restored and the barns converted into Gites giving a very high level of accommodation.
All of the accommodation is insulated, double-glazed and comfortably furnished. The farmhouse sleeps 8 and the 4 gites sleep 6 each.
There is generous parking space with all the accommodation.

The farmhouse dates from the 17th century and sleeps 8 or 9. Set in approximately 2 acres of orchard and paddock, this beautiful building retains its original features in all the rooms.  A 1 bedroom flat sits privately in the roof of the farmhouse with its own access.

2 of the gites are part of a beautifully renovated stone barn with exposed timbers throughout.
The ground floor is open plan with a lounge and dining area.  Up the oak spiral staircase there are three bedrooms: on the first floor a double-bedded room, a twin or bunk-bedded room (whichever you prefer it to be), and the shower room with wash hand basin and toilet. Up the next set of stairs is a beamed twin bedded bedroom.

The other 2 gites were originally a stone barn also alongside the farmhouse which have been renovated, keeping and exposing the original timbers.
The ground floor is open plan with a lounge / dining area. Up the straight pine stairs there is a double-bedded room, bunk-bedded room, shower and toilet. On the third floor is a twin-bedded room with an extra bed if needed.

There are electrical link-ups for six caravans under the shady apple trees in the orchard, and space for tents too. There is also a shower block with 2 toilets and 2 showers and a wash hand basin, all adjacent to the swimming pool.
The heated swimming pool is a good size (16' x 32') with paved paths and an area for sitting. It is fenced off for safety. There is a boule park to play on and a games room.
There is also a large playing field, where football, rounders, badminton etc. can be enjoyed.

Le Cosquer really is the place to recharge your batteries in the tranquillity of the Breton countryside.
