Seven years a go, a family with a dream of creating a special place in which to live and develop a hospitality business, found the perfect location and set about converting the existing buildings into a little hamlet of holiday homes.  Changed personal circumstances mean that the property is now for sale and is offered as a going concern and with the summer season’s bookings to look forward to.

The centre is currently being run as a healing and retreat venue during the autumn and winter months and as a stunning country holiday location during the warmer seasons. This property provides an excellent business opportunity as a holiday centre or its use could easily be adapted to an art/music/teaching centre.  Alternatively, it would be an ideal as a group of homes in which two, three or four families can live the dream of owning a place in France. 

The renovation of the house and buildings was done by local French artisans to the highest standard and always with care to preserve the famous Breton character and architecture.  The property is now modernised with central heating, efficient plumbing and all modern conveniences.  The original Breton style of caramel coloured granite and steeply pitched roofs with dormer windows is unchanged by the renovation and the centre sits timelessly amongst fields and woods.  

The property is approached by a lane flanked each side by open fields.  The lane culminates at the entrance pillars to the property then continues as a track into the property's own woods. 

The centre is basically an L shaped arrangement of buildings overlooking lawn, flowering shrub beds and fountain water feature.  To the rear of the buildings there are views over the pasture, woods and ponds.

The guest accommodation is housed in a beautiful building with a mature wisteria trailing across the front. In the first part there are six studios, four of which are good sized doubles and the other two are either small doubles but ideally suitable as single accommodation.  Each studio has a kitchenette and fully equipped shower room.  

In addition there are two large studios both at ground floor level.  These are linked by a door and often let as a family cottage in the summer months.  Each studio has a full sized bathroom, one is equipped with a bath and one has a shower and is suitable for disabled guests.  Each has a kitchenette and electric heating but the studios could be linked to the main gas heating system.

The apartment is on the first floor over the family cottage with outside steps leading up to its own front door. This is a spacious L shaped room and is large enough to provide a comfortable bedroom area, sitting room area and dining area.  There is a full sized fitted kitchen and a bath room. This apartment has electric heating but could easily be linked to the gas heating system.

The heath suite is on the ground floor and has amazing original features such as the beamed ceiling and a massive Breton fireplace. The suite comprises a good sized room which easily accommodates several sun beds for relaxing after a treatment.  There is a full sized sauna.  A seven person Jacuzzi.  Two shower cubicles.   W.C.  Gas central heating and a door leading to a  large patio for several sunloungers.

Owner’s Accommodation. 

This is a detached house with a glazed entrance porch opening onto the living room.  This room is currently used as the table d'hotes dining room and is large enough to accommodate six dining tables.  There is a lovely Breton fireplace with a wood burning stove.  Door to W.C.  Door to staircase to first floor.  Next to this room is the kitchen which is fully fitted and of good size.  On the first floor the accommodation comprises two bedrooms and a very good sized room currently housing a living area and private office.  There are pine clad vaulted ceilings giving the whole a Scandinavian cabin look. Gas c.h.  From the living room there are glazed doors to the back patio and out onto garden at the rear which in turn leads onto the grassland and hen run.  This is private and not used by guests 

The meeting room.  Housed in a detached building of stone and pine and currently used for conferences and teaching. This room is large, light and airy with several radiators.  There is a staircase to the first floor which currently is used for storage but has the permission to be converted to provide another apartment.  Alternatively the meeting room and upper floor could possibly converted into a detached house, 

The massage room.  A tiny building with a vaulted ceiling converted from stone and slate sheep shed. It is large enough to house a couch for a reclining patient and to allow the free movement of the practitioner.  If a massage room was not required it would make a great den for young holiday makers or another studio. 

The office.  Another building converted from a stone and slate sheep shed which again would make another great den for young holiday makers or another studio.

The open barn.  Of timber and corrugated construction and providing parking for the car, tractor, sit-on lawn mower and ample storage for all the garden table, chairs, sunloungers and more. 

Outside the property.

The centre is approached via a wide gravel drive through the gardens.  The current owners have carefully planned the garden to be a sunny, tranquil area of flowering shrubs and plants, terraces and lawn.   

There are no near neighbours and so the centre sits in its own land which rises gently at the back to pasture land for the sheep and goats.   From the rear garden one can walk to the side of the complex to the first pond which has a wooden jetty and a bench to enjoy a quiet time listening to the natural spring which feeds a stream which in turn feeds the lower pond.  The BBQ area is situated right next to the first pond - wonderful place for a glass of wine.   At the edge of the wood and easily accessed from the studios is the swimming pool.  A track leads through the woods to the pasture beyond.
