- The pretty town of La Gacilly is only 5km away, and offers many shops restaurants and other amenities including a weekly market. This town is a favourite for lovers of art, with its many art and craft studios owned by local artists.
- The medieval town of Vannes, situated on the edge of the Golfe de Morbihan is only 45 minutes drive away. The towns of Rennes and Nantes are both within 1 hours drive.
- The south coast of Brittany is littered with beautiful beaches from secluded bays around the Golfe de Morbihan to the lively resort of La Baule, recently voted one of the top 10 beaches in the world. These are within 45 minutes to an hour from the house.
