The villa is situated in Les Cammazes which is approximately 35 mins from the ancient medieval town of Carcassonne (Ryan air) and 45 from Toulouse (Easyjet) it is within the 'Montagne Noir' National park and 50 mtrs from 'La Rigole' a UNESCO World heritage site, a beautiful place for walking and cycling, we often cycle along La Rigole to 'Basin du Lampy' it is completely safe and child friendly as you can only walk or cycle, once there enjoy the bar/restaurant overlooking the lake...nice !

Living rooms:
Large spacious lounge seating 6/8 on 3 big comfortable sofas, with Flat screen TV/English channels, DVDCD/MP3 player, French doors leading to patio, triple aspect so plenty of light, Climate control for cooling/heating (in all rooms)
Bedrooms
There are 4 bedrooms, the Master has a double King size bed, 2 have 2 x single beds in each and the lower ground floor room has a single (can have 2 singles) and an en-suite shower room.

All rooms are bright and have modern wardrobes/cupboards and plenty of storage (including hangars !)

There is a cot and baby changer, we are quite flexible with sleeping arrangements so please ask us and we can adapt things to suit.

Kitchen facilities:
The kitchen is modern and bright with oven, hob, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, fridge (with small freezer/ice box) there is an extendable table and chairs, a washing machine which we've housed in the garage to keep any noise to a minimum. All pans, crockery, glasses etc are provided, there are double French doors leading to the patio.

External facilities:
The villa is situated on a large landscaped plot, to the rear are many Buddleia and butterfly attracting plants....hence the name 'La Maison Papillon' The Butterfly house. To the left of the villa, leaving the kitchen through the double French doors, you find the large extendable table which is under the pergola and wysteria which offers some shade when dining 'Al Fresco'

There are two pools, a small childs pool and a deeper adults pool, there is also a tennis court, both shared.

Special features:
We are flexible with accommodation/sleeping arrangements and will try to fit in with you if your chosen holiday dates dont run from Saturday to Sunday, please contact us to discuss.

Local activities:
In the village there is a small shop for a range of local produce, you can pre-order your bread for the next day which is a nice stroll to the shop in the morning, a Church with some famous terracotta tiling, an equestrian centre with fantastic riding through the mountains, 5 Mins away is Lac St Ferol which has Bars,restaurants, Hobbie cats, canoeing, sailing swimming, fishing, adventure playground and best of all.....a sandy beach! 10 mins away is the french market town of Revel, which has a (real!) French farmers market every week. During Summer there are numerous local festivals in almost every village, one of the most popular is at Lac St Ferol, during the first week of August they have a music festival with an open air disco, bands, regional foods and the most STUNNING fireworks display I've ever seen, the whole family love it.
