La Maison de Lavande is a charming village house with typical Mediterranean garden home to olive trees, fig bushes and scented herbs located in the lovely Cathar village of Montréal, just 15 minutes from the historical town of Carcassonne and the airport, where RyanAir flies into. Montréal is a vibrant village in one of the most popular and sunny regions of France; the "Malepere" region, known as the Tuscany of South-West France, with its rolling hills, vineyards and sunflowers that bloom in late summer. The house is available all year round to rent, from one week up to 12 months or longer - what makes our house special is that you don't have to share the space with the owners as you would in other holiday rental houses; once you get the key, you can relax and take it easy! The house comfortably sleeps 6 people with 3 large rooms, and can also sleep two more on two sofa beds in the lounge. The house is child friendly and the garden is fenced off – playground, pool and tennis courts are on foot, as well as school, preschool and nursery. We lived there comfortably with our young children
