The apartment is situated on a private, peaceful residential development on the edge of the famous wine village of Fitou, with beautiful views of the Mediterranean coast & the Pyrenees.

The property is a ground floor apartment with a terrace, wooden deck and a small, well stocked
private garden. There is a private parking space and a large garage.

The accommodation is all on one level and consists of: Small hallway with large cupboard which
leads to the double aspect living room - containing double 'futon' for 1/2 additional guests. Large patio doors lead onto the terrace & garden. A fully fitted open plan kitchen with large window shares this space.

The area is very unspoilt and renowned for its uncrowded beaches, vineyards and quiet roads, even
in peak season. There are many interesting medieval castles and places of historic interest to see.
Perpignan town is a short drive away and during the summer months it hosts a varied and vibrant
street music festival. The Spanish border is under an hour away with the beautiful towns of Coullioure, Ceret and Port Vendre nearby.

Outdoor activities include swimming, windsurfing, sailing and golf. Ski resorts are less than a two hour drive away. During the summer months all the nearby villages, including Fitou, host free musical
evenings and food festivals. The village has 4 excellent restaurants and a 'take-away' Pizzeria.
A boulangerie, cafe, Post office, hairdresser and large supermarket are all within walking distance
of the Domaine.

Fitou is situated just 20 minutes from the nearest airport at Perpignan. Carcassonne and Beziers are 45 mins away. Montpellier, Nimes and Toulouse are a 2 hour drive. Girona (Spain) is a straight drive of 90 mins along the A9 motorway.

The surrounding hills provide numerous walks with stunning scenery.

The climate is the warmest and driest in France with 320 days of sunshine, annually. It is also the
largest wine producing region.
