A 200 year old wine-making maison de village. The Gite has been tastefully rennovated retaining many original features, exposing original beams and stoneword to effect. It comprises of an entrance hallway leading up to the stairway to the first floor. On the ground floor is a modern open-plan kitchen with points for washing machine and dishwasher. The hob is fed by gas cylinder and the oven is electric fan assisted. There are ample power points throughout. Floors are a mix of tile and wooden effect here. There is ample storage space for foodstuffs and utensils/crockery.
The lounge area features a large open wood-burning fireplace and there is a dining area large enough to entertain guests comfortably. There is a TV/SAT point and a Sky dish on the roof, as well as French phone sockets. Each room has heating points for fitting of storage/oil filled radiators for all year use. The property can be rented fully furnished and with all appliances by negotiation. Upstairs there is a landing leading to: a bathroom with full size bath, w.c. and vanity washbowl. Water is heated by immersion. There are 3 bedrooms larger, medium and smallest. The master bedroom has real wooden flooring, an ensuite with a shower, w.c. and washbowl. All rooms have TV points, lighting and heating points. The roof, electrics and plumbing/drainage were all competently renewed in 2005. Portable odourless fuel heaters would be made available to tenants. Out of the front door leads to a secluded and private garden area including a wooden framed pool and filtering system for use in summer months. There are various outbuildins useful for storage and the landlords connecting barn could be used for storage by arrangement. There is only one other property that is occasionally occupied on the impasse and this by an English couple as a holiday let. There are other English couples and families in the area that we can put you in touch with. There is ample parking or 2/3 cars next to the garden, shaded by fruit-bearing fig trees!
