This Natural Regional Park guarantees that the land cannot be built and wild Mediterranean landscape is preserved. Thus Narbonne-Plage has the double and rare advantage of enjoying a flat coastline with a very long sandy beach and small harbour along with a typical Mediterranean landscape of craggy hills, planted in Southern vegetation such as pine trees, olive trees, cypresses, vines, scrubland and the Mediterranean aromatics herbs like thyme, rosemary and fenel.
