Couiza itself is the home of a castle - the Juc de Joyeuse and contains 2 restaurants, a bar, 2 patisseries and a mini supermarket - a 8 a huit. It's a short walk to river swimming and local attractions include beautiful walks, cycling, horse riding, canoe hire and more.

The nearest cities are Carcassonne, which is 35km away and Perpignan which is 60km away - there are regular flights to both, plus Toulouse (100km).

The ground floor apartment has a king-size bed and door opening onto the terrace, the 1st floor has a double and twin room and the 2nd floor has a four-poster bed and enormous open plan lounge.
