The positioining of the house is a great asset. The house overlooks Puilarens castle, La Roc and down the valley to the Mediterranean 30 minutes away. You can drive to Carcassonne and Perpignan in around 30 minutes and Toulouse, Montpellier and Andorra are just over one hour's drive. Girona is 90 minutes away and Barcelona is a two hour drive. Carcassonne and Perpignan mean you have two local airports and both Girona and Toulouse are major international airports. Whether it is rugby in Perpignan or Toulouse or football in Toulouse or Barcelona there are plenty of stadia for sports lovers. That said the house sits 6 minutes away from some of Europe's best white water rafting and climbing. Les Angles ski slopes are 35 minutes away and Andorra has some pretty good skiing too.
