Large 3 bedroom French house with garden for rent in Languedoc-Roussillon, South France. The property rental has the following rooms, all of which are hung with original works of art:

- Lounge / dining room with open fire, dining table that seats 6, sofa and armchair.
- Computer desk with computer and free broadband internet access.
- Well-equipped kitchen with oven, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, etc. and plenty of pots, pans, glasses, etc.
- Bedroom with king-size bed.
- Bedroom with double bed.
- Twin bedroom
- Downstairs bathroom with WC and large corner bath. The bathroom has a dimmer switch for relaxing comfortably.
- Upstairs WC.

The landscaped garden has a barbecue and table that comfortably seats 6.

Our prices include bedding, towels and tea towels as well as electricity, heating and internet access. You're welcome to bring a laptop, or to use the computer provided in the self-catering holiday rental in Languedoc Roussillon.

The house is on the edge of Hameau de Laval, a hamlet surrounded by beautiful walks and fantastic mountain views. Hameau de Laval is just 5km from Quillan, a thriving town where you can dine out at a range of fine restaurants, shop at either Champion or Ed supermarket plus a range of smaller shops, hire a canoe to canoe down the river Aude, or go climbing or swinging between trees at Forest Grimp.

Hameau de Laval is within 15 minutes drive of the following attractions:

Rennes-les-Bains - The setting for part of Kate Moss's Labyrinth, with a thermally heated swimming pool and naturally warm cascade.
Rennes-le-Chateau - Where the priest Sauniere became fabulously wealthy on discovering a secret treasure, but what was the treasure?
Esperaza - With the busiest market in the area each Sunday morning, a dinosaur museum, hat museum and honey museum.

A little further afield from the self-catering rental are the old city of Carcassonne, with a medieval castle with miles of battlements to be explored. Carcassonne also has a large lake with an artificial beach which takes an hour or so to walk round.

There are several beaches near Perpignan and Narbonne and skiing is under an hour away for winter holidays. We also offer long-term lets - please contact us for details.

The nearest airports to the holiday rental are Carcassonne (40km), Perpignan (55km) and Toulouse (100km).
