Description

The villa is located within a few minutes walk of the medieval walled city of Aigues Mortes which is a striking, walled Medieval town sitting on the flat marshes of the Petite Camargue. It is considered the purest example of 13th-century military architecture. It looks today pretty much like it did in the Middle Ages.

The villa is part of a unique luxury marina development with direct access to the canal system (Rhone-Sete) and out to sea. Hire a motorised boat and moor it at the end of the garden for use during your stay. With 3 floors and a large private roof terrace with all day sunshine.

The Camargue region is famous for its white horses, black bulls and pink flamingoes. Many horse riding stables are located in the surrounding area, with the opportunity to ride on unspoilt beaches and through the Camargue.

Many interesting historical sites in Nimes and Arles are close by with well preserved Roman amphitheatres.

The unspoilt beach at L'Espiguette is within 6km with other resorts at Le Grau du Roi. La Grande Motte and St Marie sur la Mer.

Further afield it is possible to take a day trip to the Ardeche, Cevennes, Millau bridge, Chateau Neuf du Pape and many more.

The area is ideal for bike riding being generally flat with canal paths. Direct train and bus routes to beach at Le Grau du Roi and Nimes.

Within 20 minutes of Montpellier and 45 minutes of Nimes airports.
