Description

The apartment/gite is situated on 30 acre equestrian ranch. The gite would suit a couple or small family. For equestrian enthusiasts, help around the yard is always welcome! We have stables for when required, but our horses live out in fenced fields. The ranch, with outdoor school and circular arena, is set in the foothills of the Cevennes in an unusually beautiful situation below the 13Th century Château de Fressac, surrounded by vineyards, wonderful walks and good bridleways up into the hills. We have a good-sized pool to which our renters would have unrestricted access. This very comfortable and private gite comprises of a open-plan living area, good kitchen, shower bathroom, double bedroom, mezzanine second double bedroom overlooking the living room, and a ladder to a platform mezzanine in the main bedroom suitable for a child. The gite has its own front door, and is independent from the main house.

There are Nearby villages with excellent restaurants and cafes. We are 10 minutes from the Medieval village of Sauve with excellent restaurants, bars, local shops, bakery's and post office. St Hippolyte du Fort and Quissac are also 10 minutes by car, There you will find supermarkets, banks, post offices and many local shops.

We are located 40 minutes from Nimes with it's rich history dating back to the Roman Empire and 50 minutes from the beautiful city of Montpellier which is 10 kilometres inland from the coast. This area of France is renowned for it's natural beauty and historical sites, there are Amphitheatres in Nimes and Arles, the Camargue and its flamingos, The Pont du Gard and Mont Aigoual are to name but a few.
