Ideal as a B&B, for barge cruises, or simply to enjoy with your family and guests, La Tulipe will sleep 6, with 1 walk- around queen, 2 bunks, and one double and 3 baths. An unusually large wheelhouse allows great visibility but you can still negotiate the bridges of Canal du Midi.

Why we are selling:
In 2002-03 we spent a Sabbatical year with our boys in Capestang along the Canal du Midi where we dreamed of owning a "floating home" which could gently and peacefully explore the towns, villages, and delightful countryside of France. Our turn came this summer when we finally purchased our own Dutch barge.

La Tulipe was originally slated to be a shared property as my job is to create fractional ownership properties in France. With no prior boating experience, I now realize that a beautiful LARGE 80 ton boat like the Tulip requires an experienced hand… or at least folks who will navigate her more than a few weeks per year. So, we are selling this beautiful barge to turn the page on our next adventure.
