LOCATION:

Beaufort is an adorable little village in the centre of the sought-after Minervois region of the Languedoc. It has an old chateau at its summit. The local post office sells baguettes and croissants every week day.  One of the Minervois'  best restaurants is here.

Beaufort is extremely well located.  Olonzac, a busy small town with all amenities, large supermarket plus a delightful and very popular outside Tuesday market , is only 2 minutes away by car.

 The Canal du Midi, on its way from Carcassonne to Beziers, passes by Beaufort  some 6 kms away.  A swiming lake is 5 minutes away.

Narbonne  and the Mediterranean is just over a half hour drive and Carcassonne is 50 minutes away.

The airports of Carcassonne, Beziers, and Perpignan are all within easy reach.
