Maison Littlebury is within the circulade. It is a traditional village house with a few twists !

The house was extended and modernised in 2009, and benefits from modern light airy rooms with modern appliances, fixtures and fittings and with gas central heating throughout ensures that the property can be used throughout the year . The rooms are white the floors are tiled. Unusually Maison Littlebury has two outside spaces, the lower terrace accessed from the kitchen has facilities for dining, we use this for breakfast. The upper terrace accessed from the outside steps or from the bedroom affords a large decked area, dining table and bbq. You can sit outside see the sun go down and watch the swifts swooping the rooftops.

What about the house

The ground floor has the lounge areas, sofas, bookshelf and a dresser. An I-POD docking station, Wii, CD player, television (with English channels) and a DVD provide entertainment.

The kitchen was extended and rebuilt during 2009. It has a duel fuel range cooker (great for cooking food from the market) dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine and fridge.

Within the kitchen is the dining table.

Breakfast can be eaten outside on the lower terrace.

From the lounge a staircase takes you to the first floor. On this floor are a double and triple bedroom and a shower room (with deluge head).

The double room is an original room which was the master bedroom it now houses a king size bed, TV and DVD player.

The triple room is huge - floor to ceiling shuttered windows allow light and in the summer cooling breezes. The room is L shaped with a day bed and king size bed. A dividing screen can separate the room if needed. The bedroom has French doors to the upper terrace and TV and DVD player.

The first floor bedrooms are served by a shower room with wc, wash hand basin and heated towel radiator.

From the first floor landing stairs lead to the second floor.

The second floor accomodation comprises of a double and triple bedrooms both with ensuite.

The double bedroom has an en-suite shower room with deluge head shower, wc, wash hand basin and heated towel rail. The bedroom has TV and DVD player.

The triple room has three single beds, two full height shuttered windows, TV, DVD and large en-suite with bath (shower over) wc, wash hand basin and heated towel rail.
