All appliances are new ie kitchen, water heater, radiators , bathrooms etc. Where appropriate, doors have been replaces with new oak or beech hardwoods. Some of the old doors have been retained for character where possible. The garage door is operated by remote control. Front and rear house doors are new. French doors to the terraces and some other windows are new double glazed and the roof has a modern 17 layer insulation. There is a new log burning stove in the lounge. The house has thick stone walls and tends to stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
