For the house itself, the ground floor comprises the garage, storage area, toilet, shower and laundry room. The garage door is electronic. The electrically heated water in the laundry & oil fired central (radiator) heating in the garage are separate. There’s enough room to sleep one person comfortably in the storage area if required (we keep a fold-up bed there now) and, of course, there is a toilet and the shower. All floors are tiled and walls are tiled where appropriate.


The first floor comprises the large kitchen-diner with 'phone and TV points, double guest bedroom and the bathroom complete with toilet, wash basin, bidet and with shower over the bath. All floors are tiled and walls are tiled where appropriate. The kitchen-diner can be used for sleeping and currently has a double sofa-bed in it.


The second floor comprises the master bedroom with en-suite shower room with toilet and wash basin, “sejour” (living room) with TV and ‘phone points and the exposed stone terrace with store-room off it. All floors are tiled and the shower room walls are tiled. This whole level has a distinctly Japanese feel to it with floor to ceiling, glass and timber room division. The sejour may be used for sleeping and currently has a double sofa-bed in it. The vaulted ceiling has the original exposed beams.
