A delightful village house in a stunning location in a medieval hilltop village on the edge of Dordogne/ Correze.

Les Noyers has been lovingly renovated by interior designer sisters. and has an exceptional track record as a holiday rental property. So far this year it has been let for 25 weeks and we are still getting enquiries for this year and for next. This is due to the standard and style of the interior.[ The furnishings could be available by seperate negotiation if required]

Sleeps 5. One double, one twin bedroom and a single bedroom. Bathroom 1 with shower and WC. Bathroom 2 with corner bath and WC.

The kitchen /dining room is very equipped with electric oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher. There is a downstairs cloakroom. The carefully restored light and airy rooms are welcoming and full of character;

A pretty terraced garden with two sitting/eating areas; One under a vine covered pergola, which affords dappled shade from the summer sun. Roses, lavender and shrubs flourish in profusion. The garden is enclosed. There is a large walnut tree.  Off road parking for two cars and a large garage.

 Curemonte is one of the most beautiful hilltop villages in France. [A ‘Village de France’, the most beautiful Villages in France].  Be inspired like the writer Collette who spent many years here. There are three restaurants, a bakery, and a weekly evening market. A stroll through the streets of this medieval village allows you to appreciate a heritage, culture and ambience that is very different from modern life.

The Area

The area is outstandingly beautiful, rolling hills and ancient woodland, threaded through with meandering streams. Discover hilltop villages, medieval market towns, ancient chateaux, magnificent churches and architectural gems. You would have to go far to discover a single blot on the landscape. Noted for its local produce, walnuts, fois gras, and strawberries. There are many local markets within easy distance. The Dordogne River is only a short drive away, where canoes can be hired for a leisurely trip. The area is stunningly beautiful with lots to see and do. It abounds with wonderful walks. There are numerous local restaurants and artisan shops.
