SITUATION It is situated in a small peaceful hamlet in the Correze, Limousin. It is close to a pretty village called Selihac. The cottage is just 25mins from Tulle. The cottage is at 430m altitude and faces south. This is a popular area for tourists and property to restore is becoming harder to find at this price.As you can see from the photo it is by a road but this is just a small road/country lane with little traffic.

SERVICES It does not have electricity or water but these are close to the property and so both can be easily connected to. The property needs an individual drainage system installed as there is no mains drainage available. The cost of the drainage system will depend on the type of system approved. An application has to be submitted at the Mairie and this is quite straightforward.


ACCOMODATION It consists of one large room and an attic. The property could be extended at the side where there is just a wooden/tin building just now. There is also a cellar. The cottage measures approx. 8m by 5m, this measurement does not include the wooden construction at the side.


PROPERTY The cottage is built of stone and there is a small stone detached bread oven in the garden too.. The roof has just open wooden rafters and covered in “fibro-ciment” tiles. Although the condition of the roof covering is okay for just now,  the cottage would look much more attractive re-tiled in the traditional small roofing tiles or slate.


OUTSIDE It has a large garden from which there are beautiful views over the countryside. There is access into the garden from the road. The countryside is completely unspoilt and is a beautiful part of France.
