Surrounded by green countryside the town also has wonderful historical architecture including the Vieux Tapissier, a C15th weavers house, Sainte Croix, a charming old church, a clock tower and an old bridge going over the River Creuse, which is full of Trout, Trench, Roach, Carp and Pike for all those who like to fish.

Lake Vassiviere which is approx 40mins in the car, offers a large range of water sports has stunning beaches, an adventure park and restaurants. If you prefer there are smaller lakes closer to the house where you can relax in peace. Limoges airport where Ryanair run cheap flights to and from the UK (and many more destinations) is approx 1 hour away in the car.
