Situated in a pretty riverside setting in a pictoresque part of the historic town of Aubusson we have a selection of cottages that are all well equipped and furnished to a high standard. Tastefully decorated to give a feeling of days gone by but still with the luxuries of modern day living. We offer long term lets starting from 500 euros per month, weekly lets starting from 325 euros per week plus nightly lets starting from 55 euros.

Our unique riverside location allows you to relax in peace and tranquility as well as being within a short stroll to all local amenities.

The touristic town of Aubusson is a town of beautiful architecture and has a history of tapestry production. It is a small but bustling market town with a population of about 4500 inhabitants. There are plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants plus 3 supermarkets, banks, post office, bakeries and little curiosity shops plus 6 estate agencies.
For leisure activities there is an indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, gym and museum.

The cottages range from 1 to 3 bedrooms sleeping up to 6

Heated for Winter lets. Bed linen and towels are included in the price.

All cottages have UK satallite TV and DVD players fitted.

There is a car park and private gardens with hardwood garden furniture and sun loungers

Opposite the cottages is The Mill originally a tapestry mill now transformed to provide a bar and restaurant open on Friday evenings.

Aubusson Riverside Holidays provides an ideal base to explore the beautiful Limousin countryside, lakes and rivers. We are a short drive away to the Lac de Vassiviere, a huge man-made lake with a small island on which there is a chateau and art gallery. There are purpose made sandy swimming beaches, a marina, cafe/restaurant and pleasure boats, one with a restaurant. A perfect day out.

During Winter months we are 1 hours drive away the skiing resort of Mont D'ore. The Puy de Sancy has black, red and blue runs plus nursery slopes. The is a cable car which will take you to the restaurant half way up the mountain where you can admire the views. Season starts in December and finishes late April. All equipment can be hired and ski lift passes can be bought at a very low cost.
