The owners live on site but the gite has sole use of the 8 x 4 metre swimming pool, which is fenced in for security reasons, and garden furniture and sun loungers are available. There is ample car parking space or garage if required. Creuse is renowned for its numerous lakes & beaches. Set in the 'Trois Lacs' (3 Lakes) area you can be swimming within a 5 minute drive. Lac Chambon being the nearest has numerous sandy beaches is a paradise for bathing, all sorts of watersports, canoeing, fishing & lakeside restaurants. The countryside is marked with trails for forest rambles, mountain biking and horse riding, there are fantastic views of La Marche mountains. Locally, there are golf courses, tennis courts, swimming pools and many historic towns, chateaux and places to visit. The location of Dun Le Palestel is approximately 30 mins drive from A20 Orleans to Toulouse motorway . There are direct flights from Stansted Airport, Liverpool and Southampton to Limoges, being operated by Ryanairlines and Flybe and there is car hire available at the airport.
