Chambon-sur-Voueize is also 5 minutes by car. This medieval town offers among other things a high school, a large library and an old abbey.

The nearest big town is Montluçon at about 26 km. Here you will find all the you may expect from a big city.

The people in this area are very nice and welcoming. There are lots lakes within half an hours drive with good fishing and all water sports. There are lots of lovely walks around. In the winter, the skiing is only an hour drive away.
