We are situated in the beautiful Limousin reign of France department of creuse,
we have a gite apartment consisting of a large kitchen,dining and living area with wood burner and a double bedroom with en suite shower for rent in our converted chateau, dating back to the 17th century complete with its own chapel. The apartment over looks acres of open country views with sheep,cattle and lake, and has its own small garden to the front of gite and private parking,with seating area and BBQ(tranquility garanted ) but you are welcome to walk around and explore the rest of the grounds and meet and feed the animals eg: horse,donkey, sheep,goats,ducks,chickens also cats dogs ferret.
If you like animals, warm sunshine, and pure tranquility, then this is the holiday for you.
Although we are pretty rural its just 4km to the little village,with friendly bar and shop.
Gueret is the nearest large town approximately 40km with all the amenity's you would expect, shopping,restaurants,cinema etc.
Aubusson,visit this lovely medieval town 30km south, famous all over the world for its tapestry,but then people stay for all the other things it has to offer.
For swimming and beaches try the beautiful creuse for its spectacular lakes such as, Lake Vassivière under 2 hours drive away.
Or just 10km la naute, lakes beaches and activities for children and in the evening enjoy dinning alfresco with free live entertainment
