La Grange is a self catering house which sleeps 4 ( plus baby). It is situated in a courtyard in tranquil surroundings. The drive is 100m long so well set back from the ( quiet D road) road so very safe for children.
The house is part of a converted barn and is very modern inside but retains its character by leaving the interior stone walls exposed.
It has 2 bedrooms ( one twin, one double) with a bathroom inbetween. Downstairs is the spacious kitchen/dining area and sitting room. There is a woodburner which heats the whole space efficiently.
The village of St.Vaury is 1km away where you will find several small shops (2 bakeries, a charcuterie, a post office, 2 banks, a pharmacie, 2 tabacs, a church, 2 doctors). In Gueret (10km) you will find a much wider range of choice of supermarkets.
Several cycle tracks start in the village, 2 at the end of the drive.
Tennis, horse riding and fishing in the village.
Swimming (10km) cycling from the property, golf (20km).
Skate board park 10km.
Two museums in Gueret and many more nearby. Several chateaux also neaby to visit.
Birdwatchers paradise ( hoopoe, Red-backed Shrike, Black Kite, Hobby, Peregrine, Lesser spotted woodpecker, Cretsed Lark, Melodious Warbler, Firecrest) all seen at the property.
We have several acres of fields & woodland you can wander in.
