Into the house, we come into the large semi-fitted, kitchen (about 30m²), which has 50's tiles, exposed beams and oak and brick fireplace. To the left we have the first bedroom, a good sized room with carpeted floor, exposed beams and a window out onto the exceptionally pretty front garden. To the rear of the kitchen we have a good quality bathroom with laundry space and a separate WC, each with terracotta floor. To the right of the kitchen we have a very large sitting room (about 40m²) with doors at both sides and windows too, this has a terracotta floor and stairs up to an open mezzanine, making the sitting room up to the roof – gorgeous and light, really, a very pleasant room. Up to the mezzanine, this is used as a large office / TV area and to the right we have a 2nd larger bedroom (about 40m²), with exposed beams and rough plaster walls – again very pleasant indeed. Out of the house we find the large garden surrounds the house and the grounds have an old bread oven (used as an extra bedroom in the summer!), and a couple of sheds for your winter firewood. This is tranquility itself, but you do have neighbours down in the rest of the hamlet – only a 100yard walk, well worth a look if you fancy a bit of a gardening retirement, though half the land is just a big lawn at the moment.

Cette splendide demeure est située dans un petit hameau proche d’in village où il y a toutes les commodités nécessaires. A l’intérieur, nous découvrons une grande cuisine aménagée de 30m2 environ avec un carrelage des années 50, des poutres apparentes et une cheminée avec un linteau en chêne et les cotés en brique. A gauche, nous rentrons dans la première chambre, de taille raisonnable avec moquette au sol, poutres apparentes et une fenêtre donnant sur le magnifique jardin. Derrière la cuisine, il y a une salle de bain de très bonne qualité avec un espace buanderie et un wc séparé avec un carrelage identique pour les deux (couleur terre cuite). A droite de la cuisine, nous avons un grand salon de 40m2, lumineux par ses portes et fenêtres, puis il y a un escalier qui nous mène vers la mezzanine ouverte. Du salon, nous voyons la mezzanine qui est grande et apporte beaucoup de clarté, c’est une pièce très agréable. Cette mezzanine comprend une partie bureau et une seconde chambre, grande de 40m2 environ avec poutres apparentes et mur en placo, également très agréable. A l’extérieur, il y a un grand jardin qui fait le tour de la maison, il y a un ancien four à pain utilisé comme chambre d’été. Il y a aussi un double abri pour entreposer le bois pour l’hiver. C’est un lieu tranquille, mais il y a quelques voisins dans le hameau, seulement à une centaine de mètres environ, mais idéal pour jardiner pendant sa retraite et les 5000m2 de terrain.
